DC participates in closing ceremony held at Indoor Stadium Sehpora
GANDERBAL,23rd District level SQAY championship concluded today at Indoor stadium sehpora Ganderbal.
Around 250 students from different clubs and schools participated in this championship being organized by District SQAY Association Ganderbal under the agies of JandK SQAY Association in collaboration with J&K Sports Council.
The Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, Shyambir witnessed the closing ceremony being held at Indoor Stadium Sehpora as the Chief guest.
On the occasion the DC interacted with students and complimented the organizers for holding such an event in the district which would immensely help towards promotion of quality sports in the district.
He stressed the need for providing proper training to the students to further polish their talent so that they can excel at higher level. He further added that district administration is committed to provide better sports facilities to the youth within the district and urged them to participate actively in such events.
Among others, BDC Chairperson Ganderbal, youth influencer Sayim Mustafa , District SQAY president Nisar Ahmd Khan, Chairman, Voice for Peace Farooq Ganderbali and Senior Citizens attended the function.
