Baramulla, :- A 45-year old man drowned in the river Jhelum in Seer Jagir area of Sopore in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Sunday late evening.
An official told , that the man identified as Rafiq Ahmed Mir of Drangbal village of Baramulla slipped and drowned in the river while washing his vehicle.
He said that soon after a team of police reached to the spot and launched a rescue operation.
The official said that rescue operation was underway when reports last came in—(KNO)
