FELICITATION OF MISS SOLIHA MUSHTAQ FOR SECURING GOLD MEDAL IN SOUTH ASIAN SQAY CHAMPIONSH
Miss Sohila Mushtaq D/o Mushtaq Ahmad Wani secured Gold medal in 7th South Asian Sqay championship 2023 held at National Sports Stadium, Kirtipur, Kathmandu, Nepal. The SQAY federation of Nepal organised the event from 3rd to 5th Feb 2023.Sohliha Mushtaq won Gold medal in junior category. She picked up the sports when she was 08 yrs old & till date she has bagged total 10 Gold Medals in District, State and National levels. She is the resident of Nunner village Ganderbal.The total number of participants from India was 108 at the 7th South Asian Championship held in Kathmandu, Nepal. Out of these, 57 participants were from Jammu & Kashmir.The medal win is a testament to the talent and hard work of the young girl who represented the Union Territory.The company commander interacted with Soliha Mushtaq and her parents and felicitated her, for the hardwork and dedication she has for the sports. Also her parent’s efforts and relentless guidance to her were appreciated which carved a niche by setting up a benchmark for others to emulate.The parents appreciated the warm gesture by 24 RR Bn (BIHAR)/K Force for Army’s continued support & motivating youth of Ganderbal District. The Interaction was highly effective and fruitful.
