A Sarpanch died of suspected heart attack in Chitragam Kalan village of South Kashmir’s Shopian district on Thursday.
Reports reaching Asian News Hub (ANH) said that a Sarpanch identified as Abdul Rasheed Mir, resident of Chitragam affiliated with National Conference, fell unconscious at his residence this morning.They said after the incident, he was rushed to SDH Zainapora for treatment, where doctors declared him brought dead.Preliminary investigation suggest that the cause of death seems to be heart attack.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident
