Uri: Army on Saturday said that three militants have been killed at Hathlanga in a military operation against militants near Line of Control in Uri area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district .
Informing via X, formerly known as Twitter, the Chinar Corp said that in a joint operation launched by Indian army and Jammu and Kashmir Police personnel and Intelligence agencies an infiltration bid was foiled today in the morning hours along Line of Control in Uri Sector, Baramulla.
Three militants tried to infiltrate who were engaged by troops, the Indian army said in a statement.
Two militants have been killed and bodies were recovered, third militant has been also killed but the retrieval of body was being interfered by firing by Pakistan post in the vicinity on the Line of Control, the statement mentioned. The operation is in progress, it said.
