Two young female friends from Sopore town in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district have found hope and encouragement in the art of calligraphy and stressed that girls no longer have to confine themselves to the boundaries of their homes. Ansareen Majeed and Zahida Manzoor have a strong conviction that calligraphy has the potential to revolutionise the professional lives of women who opt to work from home.
