Golf Tournament held at the Golf Course Pahalgam, LG Advisor Bhatnagar inaugurated the Tournament

A golf tournament was held in the picturesque Pahalgam Golf Course in collaboration with the Pahalgam Development Authority, Hoteliers, and the J&K Tourism Department. This tournament attracted golfers from different parts of the country, who gathered to showcase their skills on this breathtaking golf course.

The tournament was inaugurated by the LG Advisor, Mr. Bhatnagar, who expressed his enthusiasm for promoting tourism in the region. He announced that more programs aimed at boosting tourism would be organized in the upcoming winter season. Speaking to the golfers, he shared his admiration for the Pahalgam Golf Course, stating that while he had played in numerous golf courses across India and internationally, this particular course stood out due to its incredible greenery, snow-covered mountains, and beautiful alpine trees.

The CEO of Pahalgam, Mr. Tariq Ahmad, also highlighted the significance of the tournament. He mentioned that they had set a limit for the number of participating golfers in this event but assured everyone that more golf tournaments would be organized in the future. Additionally, he emphasized that these tourism-boosting programs would contribute to making Pahalgam a year-round tourist destination. He proudly stated that this year’s tourism in Kashmir had already broken records compared to previous years, and they aimed to keep the momentum going.
