Srinagar,:- The interim bail of Er Rashid, the Chief of the Awami Itihad Party (AIP) and Member of Parliament representing the north Kashmir Lok Sabha segment, has been extended until October 12, 2024.
Initially, Rashid was required to surrender to the authorities at Tihar Jail in New Delhi on October 3, 2024. However, the Delhi’s Patiala House Court has granted an extension, allowing him to remain free until the new date.
This recent development enables Rashid to participate in the crucial Assembly election results, which are scheduled to be announced on October 8.
