AI a threat to theworld of creativity:

We all know about the year 2022 when the AI chatbot ChatGPT got fame and went viral within a few months. The bot has been used for different tasks like writing essays,
codes, journals, or even poetry. But how does this get the info and data for making our jobs easy?
Suchir Balaji who was found dead in his apartment on 24th November 2024 in San Francisco, was whistleblowing his company ‘OpenAI’ for a while, where he mentions about the AI training programs.

He also emphasized the fact that the AI is being fed
up with all sorts of data on the internet be it the open-source media or the one that the publishers have a copyright of. He also added that ChatGPT then precisely and cleverly uses the data to create answers for its users.

Reasons:

We should know that, since the boom of AI many people lost their audience among which most are the writers of blogs, articles and scientific journals. Despite being
copyrighted content, Chatbots use it to create answers.

As per many tech nerds the reason behind all fuss is the laws all over the globe which give the companies a free hand upon the training of their bots as they wish them to
be, making the system opaque for the world. It is due to the fact that laws have not been amended since 2022 when the AI boom was seen all over the globe. The death sparks controversy and fear among people about the reliability of chatbots
and AI. Neural computers were meant to solve and innovate solutions for problems like cancer, climate change, material science and global issues. But the sad reality is AI is just copying the creative content and the scientific of people to speed up the work thus making the new generation less creative, less critical and less ideal for the modern world.

Solutions in Theory and Practice:

The solution relies on the fact that the Governments need to make laws for the AI training programs and demand for more transparency from the tech companies. It also needs to be made crucial that the students have less access to it for their academic work as it cannot be reliable. Like many universities and schools all over the globe, every university should make changes in the rules for AI.

Conclusion:

We need to be critical about the fact that everything has two faces like a coin, but it is up to us to choose which one we want it to be. Thus, morally and critically we should look at it as a revolutionary tech that could be life changing if used carefully for the greater cause.
