Azad Dramatic Club’s 7-Day Workshop for Children Concludes Successfully

Repora Lar, Ganderbal: The seven-day workshop for school-going children, organized by the Azad Dramatic Cultural Club (ADCC), concluded on Tuesday with an impressive performance of the play ‘Tullkator,’ written by Ghulam Rasool Lone and directed by Master Abdul Samad Mir at the ADCC Theatre Studio.

The workshop aimed to nurture life skills and provide a platform for young minds to discover and develop their hidden talents. Children aged between 8 to 16 years participated in the program, which focused on building confidence, improving communication skills, and fostering creative expression.

The workshop featured a variety of engaging activities, including drama exercises, storytelling sessions, and interactive workshops, offering participants a holistic and enriching experience.

During the concluding event, children showcased their acting skills learned during the workshop. Notable performances included contributions from:
Mohammad Moeen Mir, Tameem Gul, Furqan Ishfaq, Javed Ahmad Bhat, Umar Rashid, Tawfeeq Shabir, Shahid Fayaz, Mohammad Faayiz Bhat, Faisal Fayaz, Mohd Aalem, Mohammad Ibrahem, Tajamul Islam, Mohd Saqib, Arsalan Nozir, Tajamul Islam Bhat, Warsi Nizam, Aleema Rafiq, Mantasha Sajad, Haya Ishfaq, and Hazeefa Khaliq.

The role of LadyShah was remarkably performed by Ayaan Ahmad Dar, who received a certificate of appreciation from a senior member of the club for his outstanding performance.

Mr. Mushtaq Ahmad Dar (Vice President, ADCC) expressed his gratitude, saying: “It was a great privilege to be with these children. I am very happy and thankful to my team and especially the parents who enrolled their children in this workshop during these hard, chilly days.”

The organizers highlighted the overwhelming response from the children and emphasized the importance of such initiatives in shaping young talents.

The workshop concluded with a vote of thanks by Masoom Ramzan, and certificates of appreciation were distributed to all participants.
