Srinagar,Colleges across Kashmir resumed academic activities today after the winter break, bringing a sense of energy and enthusiasm back to campuses. Principals and faculty members were seen welcoming students at the gates as institutions came back to life after weeks of closure.
The Higher Education Department had announced winter vacations for degree colleges in both the Kashmir and Jammu winter zones in the last week of December 2024.
Meanwhile, schools are set to reopen on March 1. The School Education Department had scheduled winter vacations in phases, with students up to Class 5 on break from December 10 to February 28, while students from Classes 6 to 12 were given a vacation from December 16 until February 2025.
With the return of students, academic institutions are gearing up for the new semester, marking the end of the winter break. (CNS)
