Kulgam Police Holds PCPG Meeting at Kanchloo Kund
Kulgam As part of its public outreach programme, Kulgam Police on Monday organized a Police Community Partnership Group (PCPG) meeting at Kanchloo Kund. The meeting was chaired by SSP Kulgam, Shri Sahil Sarangal (IPS), accompanied by Addl. SP NHW Qazigund Shri Mumtaz Ali Bhatti (JKPS), SDPO Qazigund and SHO Kund.
Representatives and prominent citizens from Kanchloo and adjoining villages participated in the interaction, where they raised several issues of public importance. SSP Kulgam patiently listened to their grievances and assured early redressal. He stressed on community policing and urged parents, civil society members and influencers to prevent teenagers from unsafe driving practices to avoid road accidents.
He also sought public cooperation in maintaining law and order, curbing drug menace, tackling traffic violations, and identifying anti-social and anti-national elements disrupting peace.
Locals expressed gratitude to the SSP for visiting the area and building a bridge of trust between Police and the community. They also requested for more such interactions in the future.
