Anantnag: In a significant administrative move aimed at strengthening healthcare delivery, the Jammu and Kashmir Government has assigned Dr Bilal Mashraf Banday the charge of Medical Superintendent at Associated Hospital, Government Medical College (GMC) Anantnag.
Dr Banday, a Consultant in Pathology currently posted at District Hospital Budgam, has been deputed to GMC Anantnag and will hold the charge until further orders, as per Government Order No. 388-JK (HME) of 2026 dated April 29.
Meanwhile, Dr Arshad Hussain Siddiqui, who was holding the charge of Medical Superintendent, has been attached to the Directorate of Health Services, Kashmir, until further orders.
The decision has been taken in the interest of administration and to enhance patient care services in the region.
