A Tiranga rally was held in Kangan ahead of Independence Day, with several BJP workers and leaders, including Nazir Ahmad Raina, General Secretary Ganderbal, Rabia Rasool, and many local residents, participating in the rally under the slogan “Har Ghar Tiranga.”
Speaking to the media, Nazir Ahmad Raina said the rally was organised to respond to those who claim that “nobody is there to hold the national flag in Kashmir.”
He said the rally demonstrated that people in Kashmir are proudly carrying the national flag and participating in Independence Day celebrations.
Raina also highlighted the ongoing development in the region, referring to improvements in roads, railway connectivity and tunnels, saying that development is progressing at a rapid pace.
