A 56 year-old women was killed after being hit by an i20 car on Srinagar Leh highway at Prang Kangan area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Tuesday.
Police sources said that an i20 car hit the pedestrian identified as Mugli Begum W/O late Mohd Abdullah Bhat R/O Chiner Kangan resulting to critical injuries to her.
She was immediately evacuated to SDH Kangan where doctors declared her brought dead on arrival.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident.
