A religious scholar lost his life while as three others were injured in a road accident in Kangan area of Ganderbal district on Friday.
An official said that an accident took place at Padabal Kangan in which alto car collided with Grand i10 resulting in injuries to four persons.
He said that all four were shifted to nearby hospital from where from religious scholar Qaisar Ahmad was shifted to SKIMS soura where he succumbed injuries.
Three others are undergoing treatment and their condition is said to be stable, he said.
Meanwhile police have taken cognizance and started investigation.
