Srinagar, July 20: Two persons were injured in a road accident in Sonamarg area of Central Kashmir Ganderbal district on Thursday.
An official said that an accident took place at Sonamarg, when a Swift Desire bearing Regd. No. JK01AT 8322 collided with another Swift car bearing Regd. No. MH03BC 1472 resulting injuries to two persons.
The injured have been identified as Qudrat farooq, daughter of Sheik Farooq, resident of Karanagar & Aqib Naseer, son of Naseer Ah Mir, resident of Umerabaad Srinagar.
Both have been shifted to nearby hospital for treatment from where Qudrat has been referred to SKIMS Soura for further treatment, he said.
Meanwhile police have taken cognizance and started investigation.
