A student of Desh Bhagat University (DBU) in Mandi Gobindgarh, Punjab, was found dead in his hostel room on Monday.

According to his friend, Zahid was sitting in a common room with other students till late hour, and later went to his room.
When his friends went to his room, he found him hanging from the ceiling fan.

The reason for Zahid’s death is not confirmed yet. Zahid’s family has been informed and they are expected to reach the hospital soon.
