Srinagar: All educational institutions, including schools, colleges and universities, in Jammu and Kashmir will remain closed tomorrow on the eve of observance of the birthday of Guru Hargobind Ji.
The holiday earlier supposed to be marked on July 05, 2024 (Friday) was preponed in partial modification of two Government Orders dated 11.12.2023.
“Public Holiday on account of Guru Hargobind Ji’s Birthday shall now be observed on 22nd June, 2024 (Saturday) instead of 05th July, 2024 (Friday) in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir,” read an order, dated 09.06.2024.
