Srinagar:Team Red NGO has unveiled its new leadership team, appointing Heads of Departments and District Coordinators to lead key initiatives across its various wings. These appointments reflect the organization’s ongoing commitment to strengthening its operations and expanding its impact across vital sectors, from healthcare and education to environmental sustainability and women’s empowerment. The newly appointed leaders are poised to drive forward Team Red’s mission of creating meaningful, community-driven change.
Among the new appointments in the Executive Wings, Farhat Wani will lead the Health Wing, with Dr. Zubair and Dr. Burhan serving as deputies. The Sports Wing will be headed by Nissar Hussain, supported by Aijaz Hassan and Maheen. Misbah Rather takes charge of the Donation & Relief Wing, with Aaliya Amin Wani and Jahangir Mir as deputies. The Women’s Wing will be led by Isra Wani, assisted by Tehleen Mehraj and Shayista Gaffar. Other key appointments include Faiq Bashir leading the Environment Wing, with Aroosa Bangi and Danish Fayaz, and Fazil Banka heading Educational Concerns, supported by Ishrat Saqi.
In the Administrative Support Wings, Shakir Shafi will oversee administration, with Zahid Moon and Taahir Wani as deputies. Event Management will be led by Sofi Mushtaq (Mushi), with Aaliya Hameed and Iram Ali assisting. Adnan Farried will manage Media & Publicity, while Khalil Ul Rahman will lead Public Relations. The Finance department will be co-led by Ubaid Syeed and Rafia Rehaab, and Azhar Iqbal will head Fundraising efforts. These strategic appointments aim to ensure effective coordination and management across all of Team Red’s operations.
The district-level leadership has also been strengthened with Maqsood Rather appointed as District Coordinator for Srinagar, supported by Basit Khan and Irfan Wani. Anwar Ali will head Ganderbal, with Abid Hussain and Sameer Dar as deputies, while Ronaq Rashid takes charge of Budgam, supported by Bilquis Maqbool and Shair Ali. In Kupwara, Umar Malik (Babar) will lead the district, with Ubaid Wani and Sajad Bhat as his deputies. Chairman Saadat Nasir Wani (Sogami) expressed confidence in the new team, emphasizing their collective potential to drive progress and make a lasting difference in the community.
