The search operation is underway in the area, the officer said
Srinagar, Jan 19: Gunshots were heard during cordon and search operation in Gujarpati Sopore area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Sunday.
Quoting a top police officer the news agency JKNS reported that on a specific input, a cordon and search operation was launched in Gujarpati Sopore area by contingents of police and army on Sunday afternoon
He said that during searches, some gunshots were heard following which cordon layer was tightened around the suspected area.
The search operation is underway in the area, the officer said.
