What if we empower the full potential of women, not just as individuals but as drivers of economic growth, social change and global peace? The answer lies in empowering them.
One of the most important and pressing issues of the 21st century is the EMPOWERMENT OF WOMEN. Talking about the women empowerment, it is the crucial aspect in order to increase women’s access to resources and capacity to make smart and sound decisions. It is the process of improving the position of women in society on the economic, social, political and cultural areas.
A UN Report has revealed that women’s rights have been weakened by 25% in countries with growing gender discrimination.
In order to empower the women, one must first increase their spiritual, political, social, educational, gender and economic strength. Nearly half of the world’s population is women yet the gender ratio (world) is 101.07 males to 100 females (Statistics.com)
Women empowerment is fundamentally a process of improving the position of women in the society based on the economic, political and social fronts.
It entails to refraining kids from assault. Creating such type of a society and overall environment where women may live free from oppression, exploitation and discrimination.
Every one has freedom of choice and will. Almighty Allah in holy Quran says that origin of man and women is same (Al- Quran 4:1). Eve was not responsible for the deception of Adam by devil. Devil misguided both (Al-Quran 2:35). Christs mother Marry was at so much rank that Allah (SWT) sent her angles to reveal messages (Al- Quran 19:17).

Acquiring and accommodating women with skills, information, critical thinking, curiosity and self- confidence; they can change certain aspects of life.
However, in order to have to aim to higher prospects, they need to participate and engage in developmental programmers and processes. According to ILO Report (2024) the %age of working women is still less than that of males that is 46.4% (F) and 69.5(M).
Acquiring education and fulfilling dreams is everyone’s choice and desire but when it comes to education and skill development, women and girls especially need it in order to survive, feel secured and empowered.

A recent report states that a women or girl child is killed every 10 minutes by a partner or family member. Women Empowerment is essential and a necessity in order to alter Indian society’s mentality, stereotypes and prejudices. The men ought to believe that justice and equality are becoming more prevalent in the globe. Therefore, empowering women will result in the prosperity of next generations.
Women’s total liberation from the socio-economic chains of dependence and privations is known as women empowerment when it comes to simply go through the concept of Women Empowerment.
In order to equalize our society, women empowerment must be advanced quickly. In order to equalize the value of both the prides in our society, women empowerment must advance quickly. The Christian philosophy states that the men and women were created equally in god’s image(genesis).
Christians believe that both genders should have equal opportunities to pursue their skills and talents and that both genders should be able to work if they choose to. Some of the recent surveys state that only 87 countries have ever had a female head of the state. Women folk only hold 26% of the parliamentary seats worldwide.
Every woman must be informed and aware about her own rights in order to truly achieve the empowerment.
According to the Hindu philosophy, “men and women are equal halves of same divine essence. The concept of same divine as both male (Shiva) and female (Shakti) signifies that both male and female gender embody the divine and are integral to the cosmic balance”.
There are various ways through which women empowerment can be incorporated. They are:
Economic Empowerment
Social Empowerment
Educational Empowerment.
Economic empowerment promotes the women’s access to the financial services, jobs, real estate and other productive assists, skill development opportunities and market knowledge. Sustainable development is required for the economic development of women.
Social empowerment is the process of changing the patterns of how various individuals, groups of people share power in inter personal interaction.
Empowering the women folk when it comes to the health and safety is another important aspect. Women’s health issue is important for the welfare of a nation.
Today’s society acknowledges women empowerment for global development, women as active agents for development and women’s participation in and direction of their own development. In the modern sphere, women’s education is highly important for their empowerment.
Education is the most important tool for empowering women and girls, to take part in decisions that will influence their lives and help them to rise in society.
Women who are empowered become autonomous decision makers. A nation may prosper socially, politically, economically by empowering its women. A nation cannot develop unless its women are not empowered.
Women are the primary means through which the social norms and attitudes favoring the gender equality are transferred to their children. Women empowerment talks about her decision-making power, ability and her concise how much effect would she make in the important decisions and influence and her influence in people’s life as Melinda Gates says that a woman with a voice is by the definition a strong woman.
As we commit to strive for a more equitable world, the empowerment of women remains not just a goal but a fundamental imperative. Let us commit to create such a society where all the individuals regardless of their gender can thrive and reach to their full potential. Together, we can create such a brighter and brimming future where women are not just recognized but actively participate in shaping the world around them. The impact of Women Empowerment just not influence an individual but it ripples throughout the society.
