In its continued efforts to provide healthcare to underserved areas, Mooj Kasheer Welfare Trust, in collaboration with Sharp Sight Eye Hospital, organized a Free Eye Check-Up Camp in the remote village of Rangiwari, Tangmarg.
The camp saw a strong response from the local community, where children, elderly, and other patients received free treatment, screenings, and expert consultations. Special attention was given to senior citizens and children, as they are among the most vulnerable and in urgent need of regular medical care.
A highly skilled medical team from Sharp Sight Eye Hospital delivered professional eye care services, including vision testing and referrals for further treatment where necessary.
In a statement, Dr. Amir Rashid Wani, Chairman of Mooj Kasheer Welfare Trust, expressed his deep gratitude to Sharp Sight Eye Hospital for partnering in this noble cause and for sending their trained and compassionate medical staff.
Dr. Wani also acknowledged the crucial support of the Tangmarg Administration, especially SDM Tangmarg, SDPO Tangmarg, and SHO Tangmarg, for their cooperation and assistance in facilitating this medical outreach program.
He further stated:
“We are always committed to being there for our people, especially in far-flung areas where healthcare facilities are limited. Regions like Rangiwari, far from the district headquarters, desperately need regular medical attention. Camps like these are not just helpful — they are essential.”
Dr. Wani also praised the commitment and hard work of his team:
“I am truly thankful to my entire Mooj Kasheer Welfare Trust team, who work tirelessly and are always on the frontlines to serve the public. Their dedication is the backbone of our mission.”
Mooj Kasheer Welfare Trust remains devoted to its mission of reaching the most underserved populations with compassion, care, and commitment — ensuring no one is left behind.
