MP Larvi Hails SWASTH NARI SASHKAT PARIVAR Program at Anantnag Nursing College
Anantnag :Member of Parliament, Mia Altaf Ahmad Larvi, on Wednesday said that initiatives like SWASTH NARI SASHKAT PARIVAR will significantly contribute to strengthening healthcare and empowering women across the region. Speaking at a special program held at Anantnag Nursing College, Larvi emphasized that such schemes are vital in ensuring accessible, affordable, and quality health services, particularly for women in rural and urban areas.
He added that the program is not only aimed at improving maternal and child health but also seeks to create awareness about preventive care, nutrition, mental well-being, and early disease detection. The initiative is expected to integrate multiple welfare schemes under one umbrella, making it easier for women to avail benefits without hurdles.
Highlighting its long-term impact, the MP said the program would encourage regular health check-ups, promote menstrual hygiene management, provide counseling sessions, and boost vaccination coverage among women and children.
