MLA Kangan Mian Mehar Ali Calls on Chief Minister , Discusses Development Projects and Seeks Relief for Landslide Victims in Kullu Himachal Pradesh

Srinagar, Sept 22: Hon’ble MLA Kangan today called on the Hon’ble Chief Minister and held detailed discussions over several developmental projects pertaining to his constituency. The Hon’ble MLA apprised the chief minister of the pressing needs of the people and emphasized the urgency of expediting ongoing works in sectors such as roads, healthcare, drinking water, and education.
During the meeting, the Hon’ble MLA also raised the issue of the recent Kullu–Manali landslide tragedy in which several people from Kangan constituency lost their lives. He urged the Chief Minister to provide ex-gratia relief to the next of kin of the deceased victims from his discretionary funds, so that the affected families could be supported in this hour of grief.
The Hon’ble MLA underlined that the victims were sole breadwinners of their families and that timely assistance was crucial to alleviate the suffering of their dependents. He expressed hope that the government would take immediate steps to extend financial and humanitarian support to the bereaved families.
The Chief Minister gave a patient hearing to the Hon’ble MLA and assured that the matter would be considered with sympathy and seriousness.
