Road Accident in Wussan Leaves Driver Injured
Ganderbal, An Alto vehicle bearing registration number JK16B-7673 met with an accident near Wussan Petrol Pump on Wednesday after the driver reportedly jumped out of the moving car, officials said.
An official told The KashPost that the vehicle was travelling from Kangan towards Ganderbal when the incident occurred. After the driver leapt out under unclear circumstances, the unattended car continued moving and struck the roadside, causing extensive damage to the vehicle.
The driver has been identified as Mohsin Showkat Bhat, son of Showkat Ahmad Bhat, a resident of Channer, Kangan. He sustained a leg injury and was shifted to PHC Wussan, where he is presently undergoing treatment.
Police have taken cognisance of the incident, and further investigation is underway.
