BJP’s Ravinder Raina Meets Traders at Jablipora Mandi, Promises Support from Centre

BJP J&K President Ravinder Raina on Sunday visited the Jablipora fruit mandi in Anantnag district, where he interacted with fruit growers and traders. He assured them that the government would ensure smooth passage of fruit-laden trucks on the Srinagar–Jammu National Highway and said that compensation from the Centre would be provided for losses suffered by growers.

Speaking to the media on the sidelines of his visit, Raina, when asked about the India–Pakistan cricket match, remarked, “When our house is destroyed, how can we watch a match?” He said the focus must remain on the hardships faced by the people of Kashmir.
During his visit, Raina also met two young Kashmiri YouTubers, sisters Zeba and Zainab, daughters of Talib Hussain from Kandiwara, Kokernag, who have gained popularity across social media. The young content creators urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to personally visit Kashmir, saying, “We have suffered damage here and with his visit we will see development.”
Raina praised the sisters for their talent and said that the youth of Kashmir are the future of the nation.
