DGP Nalin Prabhat Visits South Kashmir to Review Counter-Terror Operations

Anantnag : Director General of Police (DGP) Jammu and Kashmir, Nalin Prabhat, IPS, accompanied by Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir Zone, V. K. Birdhi, IPS, on Friday visited Anantnag and Kulgam districts to review the ongoing counter-terrorism operations and assess the prevailing security scenario in South Kashmir.
During the visit, the DGP chaired meetings with senior police and security officials to take stock of anti-terror operations, law and order, and steps being taken to dismantle the terror ecosystem in the region.
He was accompanied by DIG South Kashmir Range, Javid Iqbal Mattoo, SSP Anantnag, Shri Amritpal Singh, and SSP Kulgam, Shri Inayat Choudhary.
The DGP and IGP interacted with field officers and emphasized the need for enhanced coordination among forces, intelligence sharing, and community outreach to ensure lasting peace and stability in South Kashmir.
The officers lauded the efforts of ground personnel for their dedication and professionalism in maintaining peace and conducting successful operations in challenging conditions. (KNC)
