DDC Kangan Inaugurates 200 KV Transformer at Akhal

Transformer installed under DDC Fund of DDC Kangan(A) to strengthen local power infrastructure

Kangan,26/Dec:-District Development Council (DDC) Member Kangan, Tasmeena Adil Kapra, on Friday inaugurated a 200 KV power transformer at Akhal Kangan, marking a significant step towards strengthening the local electricity infrastructure and ensuring reliable power supply to the area.

The newly installed transformer is expected to ease voltage fluctuations and meet the increasing power demand of residents, especially during the harsh winter months. Locals expressed hope that the initiative will bring relief from frequent power outages and improve daily life in the region.

Speaking on the occasion, Tasmeena Adil Kapra said that improving basic amenities remains a top priority. “The installation of this transformer will help address long-pending power issues in Akhal and nearby areas. Our focus is to ensure uninterrupted electricity so that people do not face hardships, particularly in winter,” she said.

Local residents welcomed the move and appreciated the efforts of the DDC member for addressing a key public demand. “This transformer was a long-standing need. We are thankful to Tasmeena Adil Kapra for taking up the issue and ensuring timely execution,” a local resident said
