Srinagar: The Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) on Tuesday announced a 14-day summer vacation for all government and recognised private schools across the Kashmir Valley.
According to an official order issued by the Director of School Education Kashmir, the summer vacation has been approved by the competent authority.
The order states that all government and recognised private schools, including Higher Secondary Schools, functioning in the Kashmir Division shall remain closed for summer vacation from July 6 to July 19, 2026.
The schools are scheduled to reopen on July 20, 2026, following the conclusion of the vacation period.
