Kulgam: A road rally under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan was organized at Qaimoh in Kulgam district to raise awareness against the growing menace of drug abuse. The programme was jointly conducted by Kulgam Police in collaboration with Trade Union Qaimoh.
DySP Farhan Ahmad and SHO Qaimoh Mehboob Hussain led the rally. Trade Union Qaimoh President Feroze Ahmad Bhat, members of the South Kashmir Blood Donors group, and a large number of local residents actively participated in the event.

The rally passed through various areas of Qaimoh, with participants carrying placards and raising slogans to highlight the harmful effects of substance abuse. The speakers on the occasion stressed that drug addiction poses a serious threat to society, particularly to the youth, and requires collective action.
Officials urged parents, teachers, and community members to remain vigilant and guide young people towards a healthy and productive life. Participants also emphasized the importance of awareness and cooperation in tackling the issue.
The rally concluded with a pledge to work together for a drug-free society, reinforcing the vision of a “Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan.”
