Srinagar : Emphasizing the need to broaden academic horizons at the higher secondary level, Advocate Nadiya Rasheed Naik today met Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and discussed the introduction of International Relations, Peace, and Conflict Studies in schools across Jammu and Kashmir.
Naik, who serves as spokesperson of the Kashmir Jurist Bar Association and is a former spokesperson of the Central University Students Federation Ganderbal, highlighted that early exposure to such subjects would enable students to better understand global politics, diplomacy, and conflict resolution. She further underlined the growing importance of international awareness in the contemporary world, stating that a foundational understanding of global affairs will give students an early advantage in competitive examinations such as JKPSC, IAS, and IPS.
