Medical Camp Brought Hope to Isolated Nilnag. For the elders of Nilnag, a simple doctor’s visit usually means braving miles of rugged terrain and unreliable mountain roads. But on Friday, the hospital came to them.Transforming a quiet corner of the village into a bustling hub of care, Army Camp Nagam launched a major medical outreach initiative that quickly became a lifeline for thousands of families from the surrounding peaks. For many elderly residents and young mothers carrying toddlers, it was their first time speaking to a qualified doctor in months. Army medical teams worked tirelessly through the day, diagnosing ailments on the spot and handing out critical, free prescription medications.

Down the road, local school children huddled eagerly around personnel learning how to perform CPR and practice better daily hygiene. The day was less about standard military presence and more about community resilience, leaving the remote hamlet not just treated, but deeply reassured that they haven’t been forgotten.
