Kangan, Aug 29: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Media In-Charge Kangan, Manzoor Ahmad Lone, has resigned from the party, citing personal reasons.
Manzoor Lone, a well-known social activist, had been associated with the PDP and played an active role during the recent Assembly elections in support of PDP candidate Jamat Ali Shaheen.
, Manzoor Ahmad confirmed his resignation from the PDP and said that he had taken the decision due to certain reasons.
“I have resigned from the PDP due to certain reasons. I will soon hold a press conference and explain the reasons behind my decision. As of now, I have resigned from the party,” he said.
His resignation comes as a notable development within the PDP’s Kangan unit. Further details are expected to emerge during his proposed press conference.
