Pakistan Beats Bangladesh, Enters Asia Cup Final Against India After Historic Gap of 42 Years

Dubai, Sep 26 : Pakistan cricket team defeated Bangladesh by 11 runs in their last Super 4s match to book a place in the historic Asia Cup 2025 final clash against India, scheduled for Sunday, September 28, in Dubai.
Put into bat, Pakistan were in deep trouble at 49 for 5 inside 10 overs. However, crucial knocks from Mohammad Haris (31), Mohammad Nawaz (25) and Shaheen Afridi (19) helped them post 135 for 8 in the allotted 20 overs. For Bangladesh, pacer Taskin Ahmed made a strong comeback, finishing with three wickets.
Chasing 136, Bangladesh were well placed but Pakistan’s bowlers staged a remarkable comeback. Shaheen Shah Afridi starred with figures of 3/17, while Haris Rauf picked up 3/33, restricting Bangladesh to 124 for 9.
