Kulgam :Former MLA Devsar, Mohammad Amin Bhat, has urged J&K Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, the LG-led administration, and the concerned district authorities in Kulgam to ensure adequate arrangements for devotees attending the congregational prayers in connection with Urs Mubarak of Hazrat Syed Noor-Shah Wali Bagdadi (RA) at Waltangoo Kund in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
Bhat emphasized the need for essential facilities such as transportation, drinking water supply, cleanliness and sanitation, medical assistance, and road clearance to accommodate the large number of devotees expected to visit the shrine. He also stressed that the government must take necessary measures to maintain order and facilitate a smooth pilgrimage experience.
Furthermore, Bhat requested the AEE Mechanical, R&B, and PMGSY Departments to deploy additional machinery to ensure double-sided traffic movement on the roads leading to Kund, which would greatly ease travel for the devotees and local residents.
He urged the administration to act swiftly in making comprehensive arrangements, ensuring that the spiritual gathering is conducted smoothly and without inconvenience to the attendees.
